The 2017 Spätburgunder RdP is clear, fresh and open on the bright yet intense and sweet bouquet with potted strawberry and black pepper aromas. Intense and dense on the palate, this is a full-bodied yet silky-textured, fresh and elegant Pinot with great finesse and juiciness. Very intense and perfectly ripe, with fine tannins and lingering salinity. Good grip and tension. Tasted at the domaine in March 2020.
