The 2022 Le Blanc d'Aiguilhe is 100% Sauvignon Blanc from vineyards in Côtes de Castillon, although that appellation can’t currently be designated for whites. Crushed rocks, slate, mint, chalk and white pepper cut through a core of citrus-infused fruit. What a gorgeous and vibrant white this is.

A restrained nose that's neither overt nor too lifted. Rather quiet and subtle with a calm, composed sensibility. Minerals, white fruit and some orchard fruit as well. Serious yet elegant with a long, chalky finish. Nice phenolics add to the texture and fullness with excellent flavor and length. 100% sauvignon blanc. Drink now. (01/2025)

It leaps from the glass with notes of lemongrass, fresh green apples, and lime blossoms, leading to hints of straw and wet pebbles. The medium-bodied palate is bright and intense, with bags of citrus and apple-inspired flavors and a racy backbone, finishing with a zesty lift. (05/2023)
