„…(wird nicht en primeur angeboten) sehr schöne, frische, reife Frucht, sehr schöne florale Noten, feine Veilchen, saftig, feine Bitterschoko, schön am Gaumen, gute Säure, mittlerer Körper, sehr gute Tannine, sehr gute Balance, blaubeeriges Finale, feine Floralität“ (04/2025)

Soft ruby in colour, sappy white plum and redcurrant, this is well handled with balance and lift. Austere but less density than in recent vintages. Harvest 18 September to 2 October, 22hl/h yield mainly from poor fruit set. Certified organic. Only touch of chaptilisation only on Merlot on sandier soils, no new oak except for a 15% new oak cask. The 2024 Blason de L'Évangile is plump and juicy, with lovely forward fruit to match its mid-weight personality. Dark red-toned fruit, rose petal, spice, new leather and mocha show very good textural depth. Floral and savory top notes lend complexity to the finish. The 2024 includes 15% press wines, which is felt today in the wine's tannin profile. Élevage should help with that. Aging is 65% once-used barrels, 20% cement and 15% new foudre.

A fresh and vivid second wine with orange peel and red plum fruit with some mineral and stone undertones. Medium-bodied and crunchy with light tannins. A blend of 85% merlot and 15% cabernet franc. (05/2025)

Based on 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc aging in a mix of used barrels, once-used barrels, and foudre, the 2024 Blason De L'Evangile shows a healthy ruby/purple hue and a solid perfume of darker berry fruits intermixed with flowers, leafy herbs, and damp earth. Nicely textured and medium-bodied on the palate, it has ripe, present tannins and impressive length. It should be an outstanding wine. (05/2025)

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2024 Blason de L'Evangile bounds out with spritely notes of red currants, fresh raspberries, and black pepper, plus hints of dried herbs and graphite. The light to medium-bodied palate is refreshing and pure with lightly chewy tannins and an herbal lift on the finish. (05/2025)

Aromas of sweet mulberries, plums and petals introduce the 2024 Blason de l'Evangile, a medium-bodied, lively and succulent red that will offer pleasant near-term drinking.
