"Absolutely gorgeous golden hue in the glass. Truffle and some mushroom elements on the nose. Quite mature and tertiary right now - in its peak drinking window. Layered and lemony but baked lemon pie with orange zest, high acidity and tiny bubbles. This has plenty of energy for its age with brightness as well as complexity. Ultra refined and delightful. Such a treat to taste such a wine at this point. Juicy, lively, racy, bitter and a touch truffley. Just divine. The first full vintage by Charles Philipponnat who had just arrived at the House to take the general manager position. Dosage 4.5g/L. Tasted twice." - Georgina Hindle (07/2025)

"Charles Philipponnat’s first vintage. Youthful. Not really truffled yet, but with a little trompette de la mort. A little blood orange too. Nougat. Frangipane. Brioche. Crème brûlée with a touch of fleur de sel. On the palate a little white truffle. A touch of dry forest floor autumnal leafiness. Candyfloss. Wild strawberry again. A little citron pressé and confit white grapefruit rind. Fascinating in its complexity." - Colin Hay (09/2025)

"Fully in the sweet spot, ready to share. White truffles, soft baking spice, brioche, candied orange, saffron, tobacco leaf, crushed elderflowers, preserved lemons and nectarine pit. A beautiful Champagne that is fully in its gourmet, vinous stage. 4.5g/l dosage. Charles Philipponnat first vintage, less than 1,000 bottles on this release, fermented half stainless steel and half in Burgundy barrels." (07/2025)
