2007 Montelena Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

Bright ruby-red. Slightly jammy aromas of blackberry, cassis and cherry complemented by spice and cedar nuances. Wonderfully sweet and mouthfilling but not a bit weighty, with its dark berry, spice and tobacco flavors firmed by medicinal menthol and mint notes. This suave, fine-grained beauty can be enjoyed now owing to its superb balance but it also has the penetration and cut to go on for another 20 years. Winemaker Matt Crafton describes 2007 as "a Goldilocks vintage," with long, slow ripening, no weather extremes and full flavor development. Finishes very long, with wonderfully suave tannins and no shortage of structure. (14.3% alcohol)

Dieser Wein kommt nächstes Jahr auf den Markt. Ich bin begeistert von den intensiven Aromen von Johannisbeeren, Minze, Eukalyptus und Brombeeren. Erinnert mich an einen Lynch Bages oder Mouton. Vollmundig und samtig, mit herrlicher Frucht und runden, samtigen Tanninen. Der Abgang ist sehr fruchtig, aber er braucht noch etwas Zeit. Geben Sie ihm mindestens bis 2015 Zeit.

Der tief granatrote Cabernet Sauvignon Estate 2007 verströmt ein sich langsam entwickelndes Bouquet von Crème de Cassis, schokoladenüberzogenen Kirschen, Vanille und geräuchertem Fleisch, untermalt von Anklängen getrockneter provenzalischer Kräuter, Zedernholz und Nelken. Am Gaumen präsentiert er sich mittelkräftig, samtig, reichhaltig und fruchtig mit einer wunderbaren Würze und einem langen Abgang, der von Backgewürzen und dunklen Früchten geprägt ist.

This red combines a sleek, rich core of dark berry, black licorice, roasted coffee and cedar flavors with a black licorice underpinning. The texture is firm, but the tannins have a fleshy side, with a long, clean finish. Shows a more supple, graceful, accessible style of Montelena Cabernet Drink now through 2028.
