The inaugural 2016 Vin Jaune Arbois showcases pronounced bread dough, dusty lemon peel, hay and walnuts. Full-bodied and concentrated, a touch of heat on the powerful finish suggests the alcohol could have been better integrated. Nonetheless, the 2016 is a solid effort with a long life ahead.
