The 2017 Domaine des Cambes is a very pretty and expressive wine. Sweet cherry, plum, mint, blood orange and spice are nicely pushed forward in a racy, open-knit Bordeaux that will drink well right out of the gate. The 2017 is luscious yet medium in body, with terrific freshness and fabulous overall balance.

Another stunner from the cellars of Tertre Roteboeuf is the 2017 Domaine De Cambes. This smoking effort is loaded with cassis fruits as well as notes of graphite, white flowers, candle wax, and spice. Medium to full-bodied, ripe, sexy, with sweet tannins and background oak, it’s another wine to snatch up and enjoy over the coming 15 years or so. (02/2020)
