Ein tiefroter Wein mit schwarzen Reflexen. Das Bouquet ist geprägt von Schwarzkirsche und reifen Johannisbeeren. Am Gaumen kommen noch Aromen von Erdbeere und ein Hauch von Lakritze hinzu. Der Wein hat einen vollen Körper, welcher aber gut strukturiert ist, sodass sein Auftreten reif, aber auch knackig und geradlinig ist. Ein kraftvoller Wein, der mit sehr viel Charme daherkommt!

Enticing ripe cherries, strawberries and some licorice. Also some wet stones and wet earth. Medium to full body with a complete structure that tightens up the succulent fruit in the middle. Ripe, but also crunchy and linear. Drink or hold.

The nose is intense, in the 2018 Rosso di Montalcino, pushing forward from the glass with masses of ripe black cherry, sweet spices, tobacco, cedar dust and dried floral tones. The finish is long, resonating on dark red fruits, spicy herbs, and a mix of zesty acids and minerals. The 2008 doesn’t present the depths of the finest years, but it is a wonderful effort.
