The 2018 Rosso di Montalcino wafts up with a dusting of exotic spice, with hints of lavender and violet pastille giving way to crushed blackberries. This opens with a pretty inner sweetness and ripe wild berry fruits energized by juicy acidity as rosy inner florals and tobacco form toward the close. Wickedly fresh and perfumed, the 2018 tapers off with medium length, ending with licorice traces.
