"Deep ruby. Complex aromas of fresh forest berries, ripe cherries, a hint of violet, layered delicately with toasted vanilla and dark cocoa. An astonishing purity of flavour and aroma. The structure is precise, the tannins velvety with plenty of length. Grown on 10 hectares located at 228 meters on soils of volcanic ash and clay. Another successful vintage from Claire and Gonzague Lurton. 70% new French oak for ageing." (02/2025)

"Richly seductive on the nose, ripe and fragrant, super expressive blackcurrant and black cherry aroams. Gorgeously plush and heady on the palate, this is full of richness and power and fleshy tannins and ripe fruit but it’s glossy and characterful and so drinkable. Really great personality to this wine. I love the detail and the finesse. A great wine that you just want more of. Definitely has the fullness and so much flavour but delivered with such balance and grace. Bravo. Owners Claire and Gonzague Lurton, director and winemaker Nicolas Vonderheyden." - Georgina Hindle (07/2025)

"Elegant and refined and a little different than previous vintages with the cedar and graphite already well-present and nicely enrobing the dark berry and more delicate stone fruits. When re-tasted 6 months on, it is the plummy stone fruits that are more in evidence. Wild sage. White pepper. A gentle touch of sweet spice too – a little more present in fact on the palate than aromatically. Lithe and crystalline with a well-defined backbone, there is a lovely sheen and gloss to the tannins. Very harmonious." - Colin Hay (09/2025)
