"(Tokay Esszencia; 63% Zeta; 37% Furmint; 8.9 g/l of total acidity; 439 g/l of residual sugar; 3% alcohol). Only the 9th vintage of this wine ever to be produced since the estate was privatised in 1991. Apple and peach. Seville orange marmalade. Burnt sugar. This is genuinely gloopy in its viscosity. The salinity cuts the sugar, thankfully. Subtle, more so than you would imagine. Raspberry compote too. Incredibly long." - Colin Hay (09/2025)

"Always a treat to try the world's sweetest wine styles. At a staggering 439g/l and with only 3% alcohol this is more dessert than tipple. Fragrant jasmine, peach and orange nose, so floral and inviting. Thick and runny, wild honey laced with lemon rind. Just like syrup in look and mouthfeel. Decadent and insanely sugary and sweet but so seductive and succulent. It's creamy but there's enough acidity so it’s not too cloying. Almost nutty, peach, pear, grapefruit, pineapple and mango with a sherbet aspect This is amazing. So enjoyable and such a treat." - Georgina Hindle (07/2025)
