In true Valentini style, the 2021 Trebbiano d'Abruzzo presents a rich, pretty bouquet that verges on confectionery but maintains its refinement—almond paste and dried peaches meld with sweet herbal nuances and hints of wet stone. Texturally deep and weighty, it excels through saline-infused acidity and crisp pit fruits. A subtle salty inflection and inner florals linger on the long, potent and youthfully tense finale. Readers will find a lot of pleasure in this today, but waiting up to a decade certainly wouldn't hurt.
