The vibrant 2022 Shiraz Bishop packs quite a punch with lashings of cherry brandy, new leather and a kick of sweet oak. This is well constructed with luscious flavors accented by bright acidity and chewy tannins offering up a muscular mouthfeel which will soften over time.

A solid, well-made and linear shiraz with blackberries, dried herbs, meat and some baking spices. It's medium- to full-bodied with fine, firm tannins. Vivid, with a kick of peppercorn on the palate, balancing with the rich core of fruit. Fleshy, generous and in control, with a flavorful, persistent finish. Drink or hold. Screw cap. (03/2025)

The 2022 Bishop Shiraz is silky and concentrated, with lashings of regionally persuasive fruit and chewy tannin. Though not a hugely complex wine, it is very satisfying and delivers a convincing argument for Barossa Shiraz. 14.5% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.
