The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Blueprint is a brilliant value based on 97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Petit Verdot that’s sourced from throughout the valley. Its deep ruby/purple hue is followed by classic Napa Cabernet ripe blackberry, blueberry, chocolate, and spicy, leafy herb-like nuances. It's rich, medium to full-bodied, has a round, layered mouthfeel, and sweet tannins. (01/2025)

Sourced from 11 different sites in the Napa Valley, Lail's 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Blueprint is a fine value, sometimes available locally (in Napa) at a discount to the quoted suggested retail price. Sophisticated aromas of crushed stone and dried herbs accent mixed red and black cherries on the nose, plus there's an appealing, savory hint of dusty earth. Medium to full-bodied, the wine exhibits a silky feel and mouthwatering acids on the palate. Drink this easy-drinking vintage over the next decade or so.
