"... (81 % Cabernet Sauvignon & 19% Cabernet Franc) tiefe, dunkle, reife, schwarzbeerige Frucht, feine spicy Noten, fleischig, aber nicht fett, feine blumige, gute Säure, bleibt sehr lange auf der Zunge“ (08/2025)

The 2022 Collina Dalla Valle is juicy, open-knit and expressive, all of which make it a fine choice for drinking now and over the next handful of years. Maya and Naoko Dalla Valle crafted a gorgeous, beautifully balanced wine. Crushed red berry fruit, cinnamon, rose petal and licorice linger. What a delight.

So deep, rich and velvety in texture and nicely saturated in dark fruit and cocoa flavors. Plush, moderately tannic and full-bodied, with generous blackcurrant, black cherry and blueberry flavors with light oak spice accents. Made from 89% cabernet sauvignon and 11% cabernet franc. From biodynamically grown grapes. Drink or hold.

Cabernet Sauvignon-dominated (there's 12% Cabernet Franc), the 2022 Collina has a deep ruby/purple hue as well as a great nose cassis and redcurrants intermixed with classic spice, tobacco, and gravelly earth notes. It's forward, medium to full-bodied, has integrated oak, and a great finish. (01/2025)

The 2022 Collina is blended of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot. Deep garnet-purple colored, it springs from the glass with wonderfully fruity blueberry pie and black cherry compote notes, opening out to hints of red currant jelly, violets, and cinnamon stick. The full-bodied palate delivers bags of ripe, juicy black fruit with red berry sparks and fantastic tension, supported by grainy tannins, finishing long and spicy. This is delicious right now!
