The 2022 Promontory is a very sexy, polished wine. Silky contours and lifted floral top notes wrap around a core of dark red/purplish fruit. All the elements are impeccably balanced. Kirsch, lavender, rose petal, sage and rosemary take shape in the glass with a little coaxing. A burst of red-toned fruit lingers on the close. This is one of the more refined, elegant wines I have tasted from Promontory, going all the way back to the beginning.
