"A blend of 67% Merlot, 23% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Cabernet Franc, sourced from Farella and an Oak Knoll vineyard for Merlot, with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc from Upper Range. In past vintages, the fruit came more from up-valley, but shifting south has been a positive move for freshness, says co-owner Scott Becker. This vintage offers dusty mineral richness with subtle notes of crunchy wild herbs. Medium-bodied, it showcases generous red-berry fruit and warming sweet spices.
