Tasted from cask, the 2023 Barbaresco Serraboella is an attractive, aromatic wine. Crushed flowers, tea leaves, mint, dried red cherry and rose petal tones rise from the glass. This is an especially floral, savory Barbaresco, a wine that favors nuance over fruit. I look forward to tasting it from bottle.
