The 2023 Barbera d'Alba Superiore Campolive is a promising young wine, awaiting bottling as of this tasting. It possesses fine depth, but is also closed down. There's lovely density in the glass, but that is only showing partially at the moment. Dark cherry/plum fruit, espresso, licorice and spice open gradually.
