Huber's intensely lemon-yellow 2023 Breisgau Weisswein is a delicate and refined white composed of Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc and made like the Chardonnays. Fresh lemon juice, lemon rind and stony aromas intertwine with caramel hints on the aromatic yet precise and elegant, discreetly reductive and phenolic nose. The medium-bodied wine is creamy yet vital on the palate, provided with refreshing phenol grip and a clear and cleansing finish with fine yellow fruit flavors on the aftertaste. The vital acidity is well integrated. This is lovely white for everyday.
