The 2023 Rauzan Gassies is deep, pliant and super-expressive, with terrific depth and fine balance. Soft, plush contours wrap around a core of red/purplish fruit, new leather, rose petal and spice. The 2023 is all charm.

The 2023 Château Rauzan-Gassies is deeply hued, with an impressively concentrated, balanced, medium-bodied style. It has ample upfront oak at this point, yet it’s balanced by solid red and black fruit as well as some classic Margaux spicy, floral nuances. Concentrated, rich, and textured, with ripe tannins, it's going to round into form nicely with just short-term bottle age. (05/2024)
