Deep garnet-purple colored, it charges out of the gate with bold notes of juicy plums, blackberry preserves, and black cherry compote, giving way to suggestions of dried mint, star anise, black olives, and garrigue. The full-bodied palate is energetic and plush with velvety tannins and a refreshing backbone, finishing long and spicy. (09/2026)
