"...ganz große, komplexe Nase, feine Süße, große und vielschichtige, feine blaubeerige Noten, spicy, mächtige Struktur aber alles in ganz großer Balance, Schoko, gebrannte Mandeln, feine Süße. Maya schafft es auf wunderbare Weise, die warme, italienische Seite ihrer DNA mit der japanischen Präzision ihrer mütterlichen Seite zu einem Gesamtkunstwerk zu vereinen." (08/2026)

"Distinguiertes feines kühles Bouquet, Earl Grey Tee, Cassis, Wildkirschen, zart kubanischer Tabak, fein Espresso, Kardamom, zart heißer Asphalt. Gute Dichte, saftig, viel feines Tannin, gute Struktur, feiner Säurebogen, delikate dichte finessenreiche rot- bis schwarzbeerige Frucht, Brombeeren, Johannisbeeren, getrocknete Kräuter, edle Schokopralinen im Finish, ewig lang." - Hans Martin Gesellmann (09/2026)

"Peony, violets, cassis flowers, chalky tannins, opens up at a steady pace and is just a fabulous wine, love the curve of slate textured tannins that head upwards through the palate, taking you with them as they go. Extremely sleek, this is the best I have tasted from this superbly located estate. Maya Dalla Valle and Andy Erickson winemakers. 8.5ha estate. François Vignaud director." (07/2026)

"Sourced from the Maya blocks on the estate’s southern side, combined with Cabernet Franc from a parcel adjacent to Peter Michael’s Au Paradis vineyard, this wine is absolutely superb in 2023. Fermented in Maya Dalla Valle’s new winery using a combination of stainless steel and concrete, the estate is led by Maya Dalla Valle, daughter of founder Naoko Dalla Valle, with Andy Erickson and Michel Rolland consulting and Edgar Alfaro overseeing vineyard management. The wine is aged predominantly in French oak (78% new), with a small portion (2%) aged in amphora; the oak influence registers more as textural refinement than overt flavour. In this cooler vintage, the wine is perfumed and suave with polished tannins and a remarkably rich, black-fruit core that saturates the mid-palate. Savoury saline notes lend tension and drive, propelling an everlasting finish. There is tremendous depth of flavour here, yet it is framed by the energy and verve characteristic of 2023." - Jonathan Cristaldi (02/2025)
