"The 2023 Moonracer Cabernet Sauvignon is 99% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Cabernet Franc. Deep garnet-purple colored, it charges out with vibrant notes of crushed blackberries and red currant jelly, giving way to hints of pencil shavings, wild thyme, clove oil, and mint tea. Full-bodied, the palate is tightly wound with taut, muscular black and red berry layers, supported by firm, grainy tannins and a lively line, finishing on a lingering minty note." - Lisa Perrotti-Brown (09/2025)
