The 2023 Pinot Gris Clos Windsbuhl has a lovely, enticing and delicious crackle of reduction reminiscent of wet walnut skins. The palate is amazingly taut and bright, but so unlike Pinot Gris. This is amongst the most streamlined and pure Pinot Gris I have ever tasted. What a wine. It is a testament to the limestones of this site and the absolute verve and energy that the Humbrechts bring.
