"This was the last wine bottled—in August 2025. To be released in Spring 2026. The 2023 The Bard is composed of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, and 5% Cabernet Franc. Deep garnet-purple colored, it needs a fair bit of shaking to wake up notes of juicy blackcurrants and ripe plums, leading to hints of cedar, pencil lead, wild sage, black olives, and tilled soil. Full-bodied, the palate is plush and juicy with lots of fragrant savory/earthy layers restraining the ripe black fruit flavors, finishing with impressive length." - Lisa Perrotti-Brown (09/2025)
