The 2024 Reserve Bin A Chardonnay hails from the Adelaide Hills, which, despite some challenges during flowering, enjoyed a warm and dry growing season resulting in a high-quality season. The wine is powerful and rich, overflowing with ripe stone fruit and toasted oak. Its shape is typically streamlined and sleek, and the wine lingers long after it has been tasted. In terms of context, this wine is perhaps more "available" in fruit character—over and above its structure and spice components. While it may drink well in its youth—and perhaps even better than some other vintages—it has all the ingredients for a long life ahead of it. It matured for eight months in French oak (50% new, 20% one year old). 12.5% alcohol, sealed under screw cap. - Erin Larkin (07/2025)
