2024 Château Cantelauze

The 2024 Cantelauze emerges from two small parcels measuring less than 1.5 hectares. This is an especially ripe style, with plenty of forward fruit and just as much new oak sweetness. Based on 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, the 2024 Château Cantelauze reveals ripe black fruits, sappy flowers, and chocolate-laced oak. This big, ripe, well-oaked Pomerol sports a plush, pleasure-bent style that's round, soft, and front-end-loaded. (05/2025)
