Yves Beck: 90-92 Punkte

"Das Holz dominiert das Bouquet mit Noten von Pralinés und Caramel, während sich fruchtige Nuancen ihren Weg bahnen! Am Gaumen ist der Wein eher schlank und vor allem von einer erfrischenden Struktur getragen. Im Auftakt leicht salzig, ist der Wein frisch, kräftig und von guter Länge. Das Ensemble wird während der Reifung an Harmonie gewinnen, der Abgang muss sich noch einbinden." (04/2025)

Decanter: 90 Punkte

"Really expressive with some minerality and blue fruit and liquorice wet stones on the nose. Round and filling, a nice weighty texture straight away, a touch plush with a soft chew to the tannins more fleshy than dry with cool freshness. This definitely has fleshy muscles which frame the fruit with acidity that drives the flavours. Feels very complete. Fine and nuanced but still massy. This will be enjoyable. Ageing 50% new oak barrels, 50% one year old barrels. A yield of 25.13hl/ha. 3.44pH." - Georgina Hindle (04/2025)

Jane Anson: 89 Punkte

"Juicy, with tension and vibrancy, you see the impact of the limestone in the wine, real precision, lovely plum and damson, cherry pit and white tea, austere on the finish. 50% new oak for ageing. 3.44 pH. 25hl/h yield, No chaptilisation, no saignee, no de-acidification." (04/2025)

Falstaff: 92 Punkte

"Tiefdunkles Rubingranat, opaker Kern, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung. Reife Pflaumenfrucht, ein Hauch von Feigen und Nougat, kandierte Orangenzesten sind unterlegt, zarte Kräuterwürze. Feine Fruchtsüße, reife Kirschen, feine Nuancen des Kalksteinbodens, integrierte Säure, charmant, bleibt gut haften, bereits entwickelt, ein facettenreicher Speisenbegleiter." - Peter Moser (04/2025)

Vinum: 92 Punkte

"Kräftiges Rubinrot; strahlende Nase, kühler im Ausdruck als Monbousquet, rote und dunkle Beeren, steinige Untertöne; kompakt am Gaumen, mundfüllend, frisch, knackige, reife Frucht, feinkörniges, pudriges Tannin, der Wein zeigt Energie, hat Rasse und im Abgang eine sehr gute Länge, hallt rotfruchtig nach. Sehr gelungen." (04/2025)

The Drinks Business: 91-93 Punkte

"There’s a little more Cabernet Franc here now, recently replanted. Creamy, floral, lifted and very calcaire. Aniseed and liquorice. The salinity of the limestone terroir. Very much a wine of its terroir, with such a distinct chalky character to its minerality. Dark berry fruits above all, baked plum too. Nice fruit purity. Fresh. The acidity nicely managed. A lot of extraction and that leaves unresolved tannins on the finish, but as ever this is a vin de garde. The oak needs time to bed in too. But potent and that will give it plenty of what it needs to bring this into full balance. Ambitious and impressive." - Colin Hay (04/2025)

The 2024 Clos Lunelles shows how well this site can adapt to the challenges of a rainy growing season. Bright and punchy, with terrific persistence, Clos Lunelles has a lot to offer. Dark red/purplish fruit, spice, blood orange and new leather are beautifully woven together. Clean saline notes shape the vibrant finish. The 2024 is on the lighter side, but its balance is impeccable.

You really see the limestone, chalk and light salt undertones. Medium-bodied with fine tannins and a fresh and vivid finish. Hints of chocolate. I like the maturity in this. 70% merlot, 20% cabernet franc and 10% cabernet sauvignon. (04/2025)

The 2024 Clos Lunelles is a limestone, mineral-driven beauty sporting a deep ruby/plum hue as well as ripe aromatics of black raspberries, crushed stone, and violets, with nicely integrated oak. It's medium-bodied, has a pure, layered mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and ample mid-palate depth. (05/2025)

Deep garnet-purple colored. Zips out of the glass with electric notes of fresh raspberries and red currants, giving way to hints of lavender, wild thyme, and wet slate. The medium-bodied palate delivers impressive intensity with layers of red berries and mineral, framed by fine-grained tannins and great tension, finishing long and fragrant. (05/2025)
