Falstaff: 91 Punkte

"Sehr helles Strohgelb, silberfarbene Reflexe. Zarte Nuancen von Honigmelone und Guaven, weißer Apfel, ein Hauch von Wiesenkräutern. Saftig, weißes Steinobst, mineralisch, lebendige Säurestruktur, ein Hauch von Fruchtsüße, Ananas im Nachhall." - Peter Moser (04/2025)

Vinum: 92 Punkte

"Blasses Gelb, leicht reduktiv, zitrische Noten, kühler Stein; gradlinig am Gaumen, messerscharfe Säure, feingliedrig, mit feiner Frucht, viel Zug und salzigem Finale. Fast schon Loire-artig im Stil, sehr gelungen."

Jane Anson: 92 Punkte

"Gunsmoke reduction, flinty, pale yellow-grey, citrus, lemongrass, on same plateau as the reds, planted in 2019 largely. Quite different in shape and feel to the Clos Marsalette, as is often the case between these two wines. Harvest 9 to 11 September. 20% new oak. 28hl/ha yield, 3.15ph. Some of this Sauvignon Blanc is in fact Sauvignon Gris." (04/2025)

The Drinks Business: 92-94 Punkte

"Very tense and defined by its limestone terroir even in its aromatics. A wine that exudes taut tension. One can imagine the structure of this in the mouth just from the aromatic profile alone. More lime and confit lemon notes, a little white grapefruit too. White pear. So intensely juicy and sapid. A much narrower frame and much more depth and layering as a consquence. Dynamically fresh." - Colin Hay (05/2025)

The 2024 Le Blanc d'Aiguilhe, mostly Sauvignon Blanc with a touch of Sauvignon Gris, is very fine. Pliant and silky, with superb textural balance, Le Blanc d'Aiguilhe shows just how compelling 2024 is for whites. Time in the glass brings out gorgeous citrus and floral notes, while picking on the riper side helped avoid some of the greenness that can mark dry Bordeaux whites. This is a terrific showing from the Neipperg family.

Quite a bit of salinity here, with lemon zest and white fruit. A touch of macadamia as well. Bone-dry and fresh, with bright acidity and a lengthy finish that shows a briny touch. Mouthwatering. 100% sauvignon blanc. Drink now, but will hold.

All Sauvignon from limestone soils, the 2024 Château D'Aiguilhe Blanc is bright and juicy, with a fresh, focused, mineral-driven style in its crushed citrus and honeyed white flower notes. It's balanced, medium-bodied, and has a great finish. (05/2025)

Pops from the glass with notes of lemon zest, fresh grapefruit, and green apples, opening out to hints of elderflower and lime leaves. The light to medium-bodied palate is satiny and intense with zippy citrus fruit flavors and fantastic tension, finishing long and zesty. (05/2025)

Bottled since March 6th, the 2024 d'Aiguilhe Blanc opens with aromas of confit citrus, herbs and iodine. Light to medium-bodied, it has a lively, incisive palate with a distinctly Sauvignon-like character and finishes ethereal with boxwood notes.
