"Gunsmoke reduction, flinty, pale yellow-grey, citrus, lemongrass, on same plateau as the reds, planted in 2019 largely. Quite different in shape and feel to the Clos Marsalette, as is often the case between these two wines. Harvest 9 to 11 September. 20% new oak. 28hl/ha yield, 3.15ph. Some of this Sauvignon Blanc is in fact Sauvignon Gris." (04/2025)

"Very tense and defined by its limestone terroir even in its aromatics. A wine that exudes taut tension. One can imagine the structure of this in the mouth just from the aromatic profile alone. More lime and confit lemon notes, a little white grapefruit too. White pear. So intensely juicy and sapid. A much narrower frame and much more depth and layering as a consquence.
