"Das Bouquet von Dassault offenbart sich nach und nach. Anfangs eher reduktiv, kommt es im Laufe der Minuten zur Geltung und lässt fruchtige, blumige und würzige Nuancen auftreten. Der Wein ist zunächst einladend und bringt dann seine Finesse und seine Schlankheit zur Geltung, die von der Säure gestützt sind. Man spürt deutlich, dass er ehrlich sein will, dass er den Ort, aus dem er stammt, durch die prägnante und frische Seite seiner Struktur hervorheben will, während die Tannine die Kraft bilden. "Unusual in the context of the vintage aromatically, with a lighter hued fruit profile – more red berries and red cherries and less florality than is often exhibited here. Glossy, even succulent, in the mouth, this pushes the cheeks and fills the mouth with juicy fruits. More dynamic and energetic still when re-tasted at the property. Quite focused on the frame and tannin texture but there’s nice clean and crunchy fruit in the background with salty tannins to the fore. Well positioned and with a nice ease of drinking here.
