Falstaff: 90 Punkte

"Dunkles Rubingranat, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung.

Jane Anson: 92 Punkte

"Inky plum, floral aromatics, slate-textured tannins with cherry pit and pomegranate fruits. 40% of the usual production after hail in June, 3.5ph, aged across amphoras, barrels and large oak casks, harvest September 24 to October 4. Organic and biodynamic certified. Lovely juicy finish, good value." (01/2025)

The Drinks Business: 90-92+ Punkte

"Creamy, fresh, pure and engaging aromatically, as it always is, the gentleness of the extraction coming in part from the use of the Rpulse system (as for instance at Brane Cantenac). This is perhaps a little introvert at first. Fruits of the forest and wild herbal notes, almost a touch of heather and whiff of iodine. I love the small dark berries that seem to explode in the mid-palate. Cool without ever being austere, this is vivid, racy and lively." - Colin Hay (05/2025)

The 2024 La Dauphine is another impressive wine for the year. In 2024 La Dauphine emerges only from parcels on the limestone plateau, a decision that resulted in only the best 15% being bottled. Dark cherry, plum, mocha, new leather, licorice and dried herbs all build in the glass, framed by mineral undertones that wrap it all up in style. Tasted two times.

A refined and flavorful red with balance. It shows aromas of dark cherries, herbs and baking spices. Flavorful and spicy with an elegant texture and a flavorful finish with good length. (04/2025)

Beautiful red and black fruits, smoky tobacco, and chalky minerality all emerge from the 2024 Château La Dauphine, another beautiful wine from Stephanie Barousse. It's medium-bodied, has a pure, layered mouthfeel, incredibly polished tannins, and outstanding length. (05/2025)

Deep garnet-purple in color. Zips out with notes of kirsch and raspberries, followed by hints of crushed rocks and wild thyme. Light to medium-bodied, the palate is chewy and lively with a good core of herb-laced red berry layers, finishing with a skip in its step. (05/2025)
