"Fragrant aromatics of raspberry leaf and redcurrant fruits, a wash of cedar oak, high acidity through the palate, this has been skilfully assembled, slate textured tannins, soft on the finish. 35% new oak, 37hl/h yield, harvest September 20 to 27, ph3.5." (04/2025)

"Dark briary fruits. Pure and precise, clear with a great sense of clarity and precision. Limpid and lithe but with both more natural sucrosity and more substance than any of the non Saint-Émilion wines – the layers are of cashmere rather than silk. Chewy on the finish but accessible early, as it should be." - Colin Hay (04/2025)

The 2024 Haut-Brisson is plush, round and enveloping. Super-ripe dark fruit, chocolate, new leather, licorice and copious sweet new oak all build in the glass. This is an especially unctuous, flamboyant style. - Antonio Galloni (04/2025)

Good depth from this vintage and there is convincing ripeness, with dark fruit and a touch of graphite. Structured, with very good mid-palate definition and tightness. Very solid finish. 90% merlot and 10% cabernet franc. - Zekun Shuai (04/2025)

Dark black and blue fruits intermixed with violets and smoky oak emerge from 2024 Château Haut-Brisson. Medium-bodied and pleasurable on the palate, it shows a round, textured mouthfeel and solid tannins, though it remains youthful and slightly primary, as well as a touch hard to read. (05/2025)

Deep garnet-purple colored. Black raspberries and ripe strawberries hop from the glass with hints of balsamic, chargrill, and bay leaves. The light to medium-bodied palate is chewy and savory with a slightly rugged/rustic finish. (05/2025)

Oakier and spicier than its siblings from Vignobles K, the 2024 Haut-Brisson displays a somber, shy bouquet of oak and spices mingled with notes of pencil shavings. Medium-bodied, firm and compact, it's moderately weighted with brittle tannins and a firm, somewhat dry finish. The wine went into barrels at the beginning of March, likely contributing to its current brooding and austere character. This blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc will mature in 35% new oak. - Yohan Castaing (04/2025)
