Technical Sheet

Decanter: 93 Punkte

"Tropical fruit, creamy lemon, citrus with mango, sweet pineapple and cooling white stone fruit too. Great liveliness here, focussed and fresh, succulent and juicy with some enjoyable bitter elements. Delicious." - Georgina Hindle (04/2025)

Falstaff: 91 Punkte

"Helles Gelbgrün, silberfarbene Reflexe. Feine gelbe Tropenfrucht, ein Hauch von Mango, etwas Pfirsich, Nuancen von Grapefruitzesten, Wiesenkräuter, etwas scheues Bukett. Straff, engmaschig, grüner Apfel, rassige Struktur, ein knackiger Aperitif." - Peter Moser (04/2025

Vinum: 93 Punkte

"Stille, jedoch komplexe Nase, würzige Noten, weisse Grapefruit, mineralische Noten; frischer Gaumen, ungemein saftig, zupackende Säure, baut Druck auf, bleibt elegant; im Abgang langanhaltend, zitrusfruchtig. Ein energetischer Latour-Martillac, der gut reifen dürfte."

Jane Anson: 93 Punkte

"Sharp, bright white fruits, great quality, this is a lovely wine, white peach, white flowers, white pear, juicy, characterful, slim and savoury. A little soft on the finish. Famille Jean Kressmann. 25% new oak. 52 hl/ha." (04/2025)

The Drinks Business: 93-95 Punkte

"Jasmine, honeysuckle, apricot and nectarine, citron pressé and tarte au citron. A little blanched almond and also fennel fronds. This is exquisite and, rather like Larrivet Haut-Brion tasted alongside, it has a very vertical, almost hour-glass shape in the mouth. Tactile and dynamic and ultra-refreshing in its sapidity, this is a great success. I love the zestiness of the finish." - Colin Hay (05/2025)

The 2024 Latour-Martillac Blanc has a composed and more complex bouquet than some of its peers: hints of apricot, pear and a touch of beeswax emerge with time. The oak is nicely integrated. The palate is well balanced with crisp acidity. This is a little more lime-driven than expected, but there is fine tension towards the finish and decent length. Good potential.

The 2024 Château Latour-Martillac Blanc is based on 55% Sauvignon Blanc and 45% Semillon, showing the racy, bright style of the vintage. Clean citrus, lime, crushed stone, and mint all emerge from this medium-bodied white, which stays bright and racy on the palate, with good purity and high yet integrated acidity. (05/2025)

87-88 POINTS
Notes of lime, confit citrus and herbs preface the 2024 Blanc from Latour Martillac, a moderately weighted, supple and lively wine with tangy acids and a short, citrusy finish.
