"…sehr schöne, reife, fruchtige Nase, schöne Frische, aber auch schöne Wärme, dunkle Beeren am Gaumen, schöne Struktur, Saftigkeit, mittlerer, schöner Körper, Schoko, klassisch, feine spicy Noten im Finish, sehr schön vinifiziert, gute Säure und sehr gute Tannine, großartig." (04/2025)

"Succulent and juicy with fleshy, filling tannins that are so enjoyable. Blueberries, raspberries, some cranberry crunch with lashings of wet stone, graphite, slate, iron tang and liquorice spice. Wonderfully forward and bright but keeping a relatively straightforward expresion. Defies the vintage, I really like this. Hints of seduction in the depth of flavour while keeping a firm grip from the start. Ageing 50% new oak barrels for 12-14 months." - Georgina Hindle (04/2025)

Jane Anson: 91 Punkte

"Cocoa bean and coffee on the nose, firm blue plum and cassis, confidently made, teasing extraction that almost goes too long but pulls back and delivers mouth watering fruits. Acidity high, in the character of the vintage, but this is one to look out for, particularly after another year of softening ageing. 50% new oak. Harvest 17 to 28 September." (04/2025)

The 2024 Latour à Pomerol is plush, fruity and very easy to like. A blast of dark cherry, plum, cedar, spice and tobacco makes a strong opening statement. Racy and forward, with terrific presence, Latour à Pomerol is terrific. It's a wine that perfectly captures what was possible in 2024, without trying to be too much. Commendable.

A firm, somewhat lean red with dark-berry, crushed-stone and dark-plum character. Medium-bodied, this has slightly austere tannins and a medium finish. Pure merlot. (04/2025)

An estate that seems to be on an upward trajectory, the 2024 Château Latour A Pomerol is all Merlot aging in 50% new French oak for 12-14 months. Ripe black cherries, darker currants, smoky oak, graphite, and leafy herb notes all shine here. It's medium-bodied, has a pure, layered, elegant mouthfeel, sweet tannins, and outstanding length. It's a solid, forward, charming, straight-up seductive Pomerol that will offer pleasure right out of the gate. (05/2025)

Deep garnet-purple colored. Needs a little shaking to coax out scents of juicy red cherries and boysenberries, plus suggestions of forest floor, mossy tree bark, and wet slate. The light to medium-bodied palate delivers nicely rounded, approachable tannins with seamless freshness and savory layers on the finish. (05/2025)
