2024 Château Les Gravières

The 2024 Les Gravières opens with a heady blast of fruit, but it's hard to get past vegetal notes and searing contours.

Pepper, berries and cherries. A little richer than many wines from this vintage, showing a spicy overtone to the fruit. Medium to full body with firm, dusty tannins.

Made from 100% Merlot, the 2024 Château Les Gravières reveals medium-bodied aromas of spicy red and black fruits, chocolate oak, tobacco, and cedary nuances. The palate is nicely concentrated, with good depth and a solid finish. (05/2025)

Deep garnet-purple colored. Black raspberries and underbrush notes gently waft from the nose, followed by hints of cranberries, wild fungi, and sautéed herbs. The light to medium-bodied palate is lightly chewy with balanced acidity and a slightly rustic finish. (05/2025)

Entirely crafted from Merlot, the 2024 Les Gravières reveals a somber, oaky bouquet of spices, dark berries, gentian and smoke. Medium-bodied, compact and firm, the wine on the palate is framed by brittle tannins and a long, somewhat rustic finish.
