"Pithy lemon, orange rind, peach flesh, gooseberry, floral and some mineral touches - oyster, sea spray and salty aspects too. Round and filling, this has an excellent texture and weight in the mouth - almost honeyed in texture but then with a lean and sharp core which is more citrus and soft tropical elements - passionfruit with firm, grippy salty sides. There’s lots going on here. Mouthwatering, vibrant with tension and energy. What it lacks in richness it makes up in flavour complexity. Just lovely. Well expressed with great bitter touches. Already good to drink but should grow a little over ageing then be very enjoyable. Really very good. Whites harvested in good conditions with excellent yields. "Noten von Feuerstein, tropischen Früchten und Kräutern im Bouquet von Malartic, das sich nach und nach offenbart. Der Wein hat eine gewisse Fülle und wird durch seine Säure perfekt unterstützt. Diese ist subtil und prägnant und bildet die salzige Komponente, während feine Bitternoten den aromatischen Ausdruck im Finale unterstreichen. Ein eleganter, tiefgründiger und langanhaltender Wein. Ich denke, er wird sich lange halten, aber es besteht die Gefahr, dass er vorher getrunken wird … das ist auch gut!" (04/2025)

"Beautifully true to its style and an easy pick. Upright, tense and charged with energy. A touch of iodine and oyster shell, gooseberry, greengage and Mirabelle, green tea, white almond. Apple skin. This has great impact on the attack with lots of vertical range and layering for a white. Some exotic fruits– guava and passionfruit – but predominantly citrus notes, with blood orange, mandarin rind, yuzu and pink grapefruit; white pear and nectarine too. A little fennel bulb. This has a lovely subtle salinity on the finish too. Long and gently tapering. lhere’s pots of aging potential to this but it’s already highly accessible – frankly, deliciously crisp.
