"...frische, schöne, fruchtige Nase, ganz frisch, feine Süße am Gaumen, mittlerer Körper, knackige, frische Säure, gute Tannine, saftig, sehr appetitlich." (04/2025)

Jane Anson: 92 Punkte

"Fragrant, grippy, lovely floral fragrance, gentle cumin and cloves, less density through the mid palate than in recent vintages bu they have captured the finesse and potential of the vintage, and you will not have to wait too long to drink. One to look out for if the prices are good. 3.6ph, 100% new oak, Philippe Baillarguet cellar master. Harvest 20 September to 5 October." (04/2025)

Falstaff: 91 Punkte

"Leuchtendes Rubingranant, violette Reflexe, breitere Randaufhellung.

The Drinks Business: 91-93 Punkte

"As we move up the range we encounter more density and concentration. This has a dusty earthy terroir minerality. It’s juicy and sapid with the same slightly elevated acidity that one finds in de Fonbel. Lifted, aerial, croquant in its fruit signature. This slightly loses its shape on the finish with a slight drop off in the clarity of the fruit. But I love the quite creamy blueberry and black berry fruit and iris and iris bulb florality. There’s a touch of cedar with aeration." - Colin Hay (04/2025)

Decanter: 92 Punkte

"A softly perfumed nose with raspberry and cranberry elements. Crisp and crunchy, bright and shining, an almost sweet burst to the acidity with clean red berry fruit and lots of lifted freshness. A touch more density than Fonbel, with layers of mint, blueberry and liquorice. Well made with just a friendly, fun, and charming acidity. A touch sleek and lean towards the finish just becoming a bit more serious and spiced with lots of minerality but I like this. Very good. A yield of 35hl/ha. West exposure. Ageing 100% new oak. 3.5pH." - Georgina Hindle (04/2025)

The 2024 Moulin Saint-Georges was picked between September 25 to October 5 and aged for 18 months entirely in new barrels. This has quite an open and expressive bouquet with blackcurrant, raspberry, light pencil shavings and very subtle vanillary scents from the oak (which will assimilate with time). The palate is medium-bodied, bright and lively with crunchy tannins and a fine bead of acidity. Though not complex, the 2024 has a saline finish that maintains freshness and vigour.

Attractive freshness and medium density with creamy texture, red-cherry character and a sliced-orange undertone. Medium-bodied, this has a crisp finish and some salt too. A blend of 80% merlot and 20% cabernet franc. (04/2025)

I loved the 2024 Château Moulin Saint-Georges, a juicy, elegant, and perfumed Saint-Émilion loaded with upfront red and black fruits, spicy wood, spring flowers, and chalky minerality. Medium-bodied and beautifully balanced, it's not massive, but it has present yet integrated oak, fine tannins, and outstanding length. (05/2025)

Deep garnet-purple colored. Is a touch broody and cedary to start, soon opening out to reveal notes of crushed black cherries and black raspberries, plus hints of bay leaves and fragrant soil. The light to medium-bodied palate is lively and vibrant with red berry flavors defining the finish. (05/2025)

The 2024 Moulin St Georges is showing quite nicely, offering up aromas of raspberries, cherries and spicy new oak, followed by a medium to full-bodied, tangy and mineral palate with a persistent, gently oak-inflected finish.
