The 2024 Nairac, which contains 150 g/l residual sugar, has a simple bouquet that obviously lacks the botrytis concentration of the 2022. It feels delineated and focused, but there is less in the way of amplitude. The palate is actually far better with a pure entry, an endearing viscous texture and notes of saffron-infused apricot and peach towards the finish. My score is based on the expectation that the aromatics will improve in bottle. - Neal Martin (04/2025)

An unctuous and sweet Barsac with baked apricots, honey and hints of flowers on the nose. Medium-bodied with a dense core of sweet fruit on the oily palate. Fresher expression to the finish with some baked-orange character. (04/2025)
