"A dark nose, liquorice and black pepper with ripe and cool blackcurrants. Succulent and super juicy with a generous lick of wet stones and graphite adding a saline element to the red berry fruit with slightly chalky tannins. I like the upfront nature, really everything is harmonious and in balance. Nothing pushed too hard - still with concentration. Cool and clean with focus. Maybe less Pomerol plushness than normal but good finesse and drinkability. Ageing 30% new oak barrels for 12-18 months." - Georgina Hindle (04/2025)

"Carefully extracted fresh and floral aromatics, slim but enjoyable just-ripe berry fruits, fresh acidities that are a little too much, making things austere. Give it time to soften, as the final impression is of an unfussy early-drinking wine. Moreau family owners, 30% new oak. Grape variety given is as planted, not specific to the 2024 vintage. Tasted twice." (04/2025)
