Just bottled, the 2024 Puygueraud Blanc is a tasty dry white from Nicolas Thienpoint. Lemon confit, white flowers and light tropical notes infuse the 2024 with notable character. There's a bit more textural depth here than in recent years, which really helps bring everything together. The 2024 is a superb Puygueraud Blanc. Tasted two times.

Already bottled, the 2024 Château Puygueraud Blanc is 78% Sauvignon Blanc and 22% Sauvignon Gris, with the Sauvignon Blanc brought up in tank and the Sauvignon Gris in old barrels. It has classic Sauvignon aromas of ripe lemon, sappy, minty herbs, and subtle pineapple as well as a wonderful sense of minerality. It's medium-bodied, concentrated, has a round, layered mouthfeel, and terrific acidity. Drink 2025-2028. (05/2025)
