2024 Château Talbot Caillou Blanc

The 2024 Caillou Blanc Talbot was matured in 30% new oak and contains more Sauvignon Blanc this year (83%) due to a new parcel. It has a fresh nose with red apple, tangerine and light chamomile scents that unfold in the glass. The palate is well balanced with an attractive, slightly waxy texture and a fine bead of acidity, with a dash of lemongrass emerging on the finish. Focused, dense and creamy with berries and chocolate on the nose. It’s medium-bodied with fine tannins. Chalky, with crunchy berries and a flavorful finish. (04/2025)

Notes of pear, boxwood, lemongrass and spring flowers preface the 2024 Caillou Blanc de Talbot, a medium-bodied, lively and taut wine with tangy acids. It concludes with a somewhat short finish.
