The 2024 Hospitalet de Gazin is a very pretty second wine. Bright, floral and punchy, with good depth, the 2024 is delightful. Crushed flowers, cinnamon, lavender and bright red/purplish fruit jump from the glass. What a lovely Pomerol.

The second wine of Château Gazin, the 2024 Hospitalet De Gazin is 84% Merlot with the balance Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, raised in 50% new oak. It's a charming, forward effort with ripe red and black fruits, medium body, some leafy herb and savory earth nuances, and ripe, chalky tannins. It's a pleasurable Pomerol that will drink nicely right out of the gate. (05/2025)
