Delicious, grippy, vibrant, and so juicy. Grated ginger, citrus, white peach, easy to to fall in love with, totally joyous. Pressed directly into barrel and kept there for seven months with lees stirring. Angélique Vigouroux oversees the whites at cos. Really is one to look out for, a buy. 3.07ph. 3.07 pH. Harvest 17 to 27 September. 17% new oak. (04/2025)

Vinum: 93 Punkte

Green apple, hay, elderflower, straw, light green gold colour. Zingy and alive, this has generous citrus elements. - lime, lemon and kiwi tang with a lovely, almost honeyed element to the texture. Not at all too lean or straight, this has some weight and layering. Not the biggest wine of course, but fresh and bright with lemony tang and hardly any bitterness. Clean and fresh with a mineral end. Great stuff. This will fly out of the glass! 25th vintage of this white. Ageing 17% new barrels. 3.07pH.

Rich, aromatically explosive and very true to its style, with a certain opulence and expressiveness. A lovely sweet aromatic profile and yet on the palate that brilliantly vivid and vibrant freshness. Lime zest, lime confit – indeed, 50 shades of lime. White grapefruit. A little guava perhaps. Quince and pear. Some Sauternes notes – even lanolin. Iodine.

The 2024 Les Pagodes de Cos Blanc is supple and engaging. Soft contours wrap around a core of apricot, white pepper, mint, sage, chalk and slate. This is the first vintage in which Sémillon drives the blend. That comes through in the wine's mid-palate oiliness and overall balance. There's gorgeous weight and substance here.

A vintage with very high acidity, but for my palate this is quite bright and attractive, with good density. Quite long, with creamy guava and green mango flavors that linger in the finish. 61% semillon and 39% sauvignon blanc.

As to the two whites, the 2024 Pagodes De Cos Blanc is 61% Semillon and 39% Sauvignon Blanc. It has solid aromatics of ripe citrus, gooseberry, and mint, with medium-bodied richness, racy acidity, and outstanding length. This fresh, juicy, bright white brings ample acidity without leaning too much into the tart end of the spectrum. (05/2025)

Skips out with notes of lemon tart, lime blossoms, and fresh pears, plus wafts of yellow apples and coriander seed. Light-bodied, zesty, and refreshing, it delivers intense citrus flavors and a steely finish. (05/2025)

A blend of 61% Sémillon and 39% Sauvignon Blanc, the 2024 Pagodes de Cos Blanc reveals a delicate, elegant bouquet of spring flowers, pear and white fruits mingled with boxwood. Medium-bodied, lively and incisive, it's juicy and round with bright acids that lead to a long, mouthwatering finish. This is a nice rendition of this cuvée.
