The 2024 Riesling Piesporter Treppchen GG is from a single parcel of over 60-year-old vines with richer soil on the lower part of the slope. Mango and passion fruit aromas shimmer on the nose. They also shine on the palate where they appear within a lovely frame of lemon zestiness. It is full of energy and liveliness emanating from the stone. The 2024 is a big but very well proportioned wine. It is solid but fine, with exquisite but slender contour. (Bone-dry)
