"Nach einer ersten Nase wähnt man sich im grossen Wein, feinste Kräuternoten über roter Frucht, florale Noten, getrocknete Rosen; am Gaumen feingliedrig, frisch, kein Gramm fett, viel Präzision, der Wein schwebt über die Zunge, wirkt federleicht, hat dennoch eine solide Struktur, hallt rotfruchtig nach. Finessenreich!"

"Nicely fragrant, very Cabernet in the aromatics, dried herbs, mint and blackcurrants. Floral, red and blue fruits, crunchy. Smooth and so succulent, cool and so sleek with a lovely soft juiciness on the mid palate. The end is taut and focussed but this keeps a stylish profile, lean but with enough fruit and texture to be filling. Very sophisticated, serious and structured. Definite charm here. Very easy to drink with salty wet stones on the finish. Not demonstrative, a little severe, but classy too and still with power it’s just funnelled. Liquorice, cola, wet stones, crushed graphite. 15% press. 50% production. Concentrated. 72% of Cabernet Sauvignon which is the highest proportion for Reserve ever. "Cassis and a very gracious stalky florality. This is very pure and aerial, lifted and fine. It is glassy in texture yet layered, but slender in comparison with previous vintages. The silken sheets from which it is formed are interspersed with fine-grained tannins. The choice, the right one for me, has been to maintain the style but at the expense of density and concentration. "Die Frische des Cabernet Sauvignon ist sofort spürbar, mit Nuancen, die die Geschmacksknospen bereits auf vielfältige Aromen vorbereiten. Verlockende Noten von Himbeeren und Heidelbeeren auf einem Hintergrund von frischem Holz. Am Gaumen werden die olfaktorischen Vorboten durch einen saftigen und mundenden Charakter bestätigt. Der Wein ist von mittlerer Dichte, aber er hat Muskeln und dennoch ein wenig Fleisch. Es ist vielleicht nicht die dichteste Réserve, die ich je getrunken habe, aber wahrscheinlich die animierendste! Man darf jedoch nicht aus den Augen verlieren, dass der Wein noch am Anfang seiner Reifung steht." (04/2025)
