2025 Château Beaumont

The 2025 Beaumont is a potent, burly Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois. Dark red-toned fruit, gravel, incense, dried herbs and incense are front and center. There's a bit of toughness in the tannins, but that's not too surprising at this level. This Haut-Médoc will be a fine companion at the dinner table, especially if enjoyed with similarly hearty fare.

Some pretty fruit with currant and berry aromas. Medium-bodied with a slightly hollow center palate and polished tannins. A little short in the finish. (04/2026)

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2025 Beaumont is a blend of 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, and 4% Petit Verdot. It hops from the glass with easy-breezy notes of juicy raspberries and fresh blackberries, plus suggestions of lavender, wild sage, and graphite. Medium-bodied, the palate is soft and bright with perfumed red and black fruit and a savory finish. The alcohol is 13.5%. (04/2026)
