"Was für eine Präzision und Tiefe im Bouquet von Belgrave 2025! Alles liegt im Detail, nichts in der Üppigkeit! Herrliche Symbiose aus Noten von Lakritz, Eukalyptus, schwarzer Johannisbeere und Minze. Cremig im Auftakt, besticht der Wein durch seinen linearen Charakter und die fleischige Umrahmung seiner Kraft. Dazu trägt natürlich auch die Säurestruktur bei, die für Frische und Temperament sorgt, allerdings auf eine insgesamt subtile Weise. Sehr schön!" (04/2026)

"Juicy and lively, supple and fleshy with a strawberry juice vein – a little chalky still on the mid-palate – just losing some of the initial vibrancy but this has lots of tannin presence with a long, salty, cola grip. I like the depth and the frame, this is one that will benefit from ageing. Cool wild blueberry notes on the nose. Fully tannic but bouncy and soft, really cushioning with blueberry. I like the purity and focus, it’s a little light in terms of persistence but there’s balance and it'll round out. Harvest 3rd September until the 19th. 13%. A yield of 24hl/ha. "Kräftig Farbe und tiefdunkel im Duft; kühler Stein, Brombeeren, Schwarzkirschen, getrockneter Oregano; am Gaumen kraftvoll und dicht, sehr opulent, markante, leicht pudrige Tannine stützen die Frucht, im mittleren Gaumen nicht ganz so vollmundig wie im Auftakt, eine schöne Säure verleiht Frische; im Abgang von guter Länge.
