"As with many Pomerols in the vintage, the colour is intense and concentrated, a deep purple that suggests fully ripe berries and low yields. Slated texture, plum and blackberry fruits, appellation typicity, supple tannins, cedar and sandalwood smoky oak, a little high on the acidity on the finish but plenty of charm here. "Creamy blackcurrant and cherry fruit join quite prominent tannins. You can feel the young oak on the tannins but this is designed for the long haul. "Tiefdunkles Rubingranat, opaker Kern, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung. Schwarze Kirschen, zart nach Lakritze, floraler Touch, kandierte Mandarinenzesten unterlegt.
