"Clean, sappy, Chinese pear, frangipane, grilled pineapple, spiced grilled peaches with cumin seeds and jasmine blossom, great quality. 33% new oak. Harvest September 19 to October 7. Yield 14 hl/ha, three passes made through the vineyards, 140g/l of residual sugar, with a 3.2ph."

"Expressive Nase, kristallklar und rein, Orangenblüten, Quittengelee, gedörrte Aprikosen, Feigen, dazu Waldhonig, sehr komplex; am Gaumen dicht und gleichzeitig hochelegant, delikate Frucht, ausgezeichnete Säure; langer Abgang, salines Finale. Vielleicht der beste, je produzierte Clos Haut-Peyraguey." - Adrian van Velsen (04/2026)

The 2025 Clos Haut-Peyraguey was picked in three passes between 19 September and 7 October with 140 g/l residual sugar. This is quite pure and delineated on the nose with vanilla pod, acacia honey, French patisserie and light almond scents. The palate is well balanced with a viscous entry. The acidity here is very well judged, the pure botrytis coming through and shaping the very focused finish. Maybe not the most complex Sauternes that I tasted in what was a fecund vintage, but one of the finest Clos Haut-Peyraguey I have tasted at this early juncture.

Lots of botrytis character. Ample, unctuous and decadent, with medium acidity and a richly expressive, almost excessive palate underpinned by a subtle stony texture.  - Jacobo García Andrade (04/2026)

The 2025 Clos Haut-Peyraguey has a pale straw-gold color, jumping from the glass with vivacious scents of juicy apricots and baked pineapple, giving way to hints of passion fruit, candied ginger, and acacia honey with a waft of orange blossoms. The palate is both rich and bright-fruited with plenty of honey-laced botrytis characters and a very long, spicy finish. The blend is 70% Sémillon and 30% Sauvignon Blanc. It has 140 grams per liter of residual sugar with a pH of 3.15. The alcohol is 13.5%. (04/2026)
