The 2025 Fourcas Dupré is a big, hearty wine. A blast of dark red fruit, leather, incense, spice, menthol, licorice and gravel makes quite a statement. This brooding, potent Listrac does not leave much to the imagination. Tasted two times.

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2025 Fourcas Dupré needs a swirl or two before it skips out with vibrant notes of black raspberries and blueberries, plus suggestions of bay leaves, pencil lead, and underbrush. The medium-bodied palate is bright and breezy with approachable tannins, great tension, and great length. Yum! The blend is 26% Merlot and 74% Cabernet Sauvignon. The alcohol is 13.5%. (04/2026)
